About Me

Grace is a speculative fiction writer and psychiatrist. Her writing explores brains, minds, technology, alien worlds, relationships, power, identity, and hidden parts of the self.

Her short fiction can be found in Clarkesworld, Lightspeed, Black Cranes: Tales of Unquiet Women, Going Down Swinging, Aurealis, Andromeda Spaceways Magazine, and many other places. She has been shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards, Norma K Hemming Award, and Viva la Novella.

The other version of Grace works in psychiatry. She is fascinated by psychology, neuroscience, consciousness, empathy, ethics, and the mind-body relationship. Writers who have influenced her include Ursula K Le Guin, Oliver Sacks, Kazuo Ishiguro, Ted Chiang, and Ken Liu.

Grace is represented by Jacinta Di Mase Management, and is a member of Writers Victoria.

Grace was born in Malaysia and lives in Melbourne, Australia. In her other life, she works as a psychiatrist. She is represented by Jacinta Di Mase Management.
